How we do it
- Site visit. We check the stock, racks, counters, machines and any fixtures that need to be unfixed from walls or floors.
- Stock count and packing. Stock is counted and packed in numbered cartons with a list, so you can check everything at the new location.
- Fixture dismantling. Display racks, counters, signboards and shelving are taken apart carefully and fittings are kept in labelled bags.
- Machine loading. Heavy machines are loaded with the right number of people, rollers and straps, and placed in the vehicle on a firm base.
- Setup at the new site. Racks and counters are fitted back, stock is placed in the order you want, and machines are positioned where you mark.
Looking after your things
Commercial goods need a different kind of care than household goods. Shop stock is packed so that the count is easy to check on delivery. Glass display units are wrapped and crated where needed. Restaurant equipment such as fridges, ovens and stainless steel counters are cleaned and moved upright. Machines are moved with a team that has handled industrial goods before, and very heavy items are discussed in advance so we bring the right equipment.
What it costs
We give every customer a written price before we start. It mostly depends on a few things: volume of stock, heavy machines, fixtures and timing. A small shop and a large godown need very different vehicles and teams. Weight and size decide the labour and the vehicle needed for loading. Racks, counters and shelving that must be unfixed and refitted add time. Moves after business hours or on your weekly off are planned with extra hours.
