Ravet sits close to the Mumbai–Bangalore Highway and the start of the expressway, which makes it popular with people who commute to Hinjewadi and travel often to Mumbai.
Our Ravet customers are mostly people working in Hinjewadi and Wakad, and families who wanted a new gated society close to the expressway. Our office is in Moshi, inside PCMC, so Ravet is part of the area our team covers every day.
Shifting within Ravet
Most homes here are new high-rise societies and gated complexes. We are often around Mumbai–Bangalore Highway, Ravet BRTS road, Aundh–Ravet BRTS, Kiwale side and Punawale–Ravet road, which helps a lot on moving day: we already know the roads, the parking and the usual society rules.
Large Ravet societies usually need a move-in or move-out permission from the society office. Share it with us and we time the lift and truck entry to match.
Short moves go between Ravet, Punawale, Wakad and Nigdi, and quite often it is a family moving from a rented flat into one they have bought. A move like that is normally packed, moved and set up in one day. If you only have a fridge, a bed and a few cartons, ask for few item shifting. We send a smaller tempo and you pay for that, not for a whole truck.
How a local move usually goes
Say you are shifting a 2 BHK from near Mumbai–Bangalore Highway to Akurdi. Our team of four reaches around 9 in the morning with cartons, bubble wrap and tape. The kitchen and the fragile things are packed first, then the bedrooms, then the living room, and every box gets the room name written on it. Beds and wardrobes are taken apart and the screws go into small labelled bags. By early afternoon the truck is loaded, heavy things at the bottom and fragile boxes on top. At the new place the same people unload, carry each box to its room, fit the furniture back together and take the empty cartons away. Most days like this are over by evening, and you sleep in your own bed in the new home that night.
Leaving Ravet for a job in another city
A lot of our work in Ravet starts with a new offer letter. Someone has two or three weeks to join in Bangalore or Hyderabad, the flat has to be handed back, and there is a car or a bike to think about as well. We usually pack the flat over a weekend, send the household goods by truck, and put the car or bike on the same schedule. Some people first send a few bags with our luggage service and move the rest once they have found a place in the new city.
From Ravet to another city
When people from Ravet move out of Pune, the cities we hear most often are Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai. We pick up from your door here and deliver to your new home, with extra packing for the long road and a message on WhatsApp when the truck leaves and when it reaches. The other way round works too: if you are moving into Ravet from another city, we can bring your goods here or just do the unloading and setting up.
What it costs
Honestly, it depends on what you are moving. Taking one room from Ravet to Akurdi is a few hours of work. A fully furnished 3 BHK on a high floor going to another state is a different job altogether. What matters most is how much you have, which floor you are on and whether there is a lift, and how far it is going. Send us a short video of your home on WhatsApp and we will reply with a written price that includes packing, loading, transport and unloading. If you can, avoid month-end weekends, when every mover in Pune is busy.
