How we do it
- Share the details. Tell us the bike model and the pickup and delivery addresses.
- Inspection. We note the condition of the bike with photos before packing.
- Packing. The bike is wrapped in foam, bubble wrap and corrugated sheets, with extra layers on the tank, mirrors, handle and lights.
- Loading. It is loaded upright with support and tied so it cannot tip or rub against other goods.
- Delivery. The bike is unpacked in front of you at the new address and checked against the photos.
Looking after your things
A bike is easy to scratch and its mirrors and indicators break easily, so packing is the most important step. Mirrors are removed or folded and wrapped, the petrol tank is kept nearly empty, and the battery can be disconnected for long routes. Helmets and accessories are packed in a separate carton.
What it costs
We give every customer a written price before we start. It mostly depends on a few things: distance, bike size, with household goods or alone and packing. The main factor in the price. Heavy cruisers and sports bikes need more space and packing. Sending the bike with your household move costs less than a separate shipment. Extra protection for premium bikes adds to the material cost. Send us photos or a short video and you will usually have a price within 15 minutes during working hours.
A few tips
- Keep very little petrol in the tank.
- Remove helmets and accessories, or pack them separately.
- Keep the RC and insurance papers with you.
