Moving to a new city for a job or college, or sending things home after a course? You do not need to book a full truck. Here is how luggage transport from Pune works.
Step 1: Make a list
Count your bags, suitcases and cartons. Note any large items like a cycle, TV or cooler. Take a photo of everything together.
Step 2: Get a quote
Send the photo and the destination city on WhatsApp. Luggage is usually charged by the number of boxes or by weight, plus the distance. Our luggage transportation service works this way for every city.
Step 3: Packing
Pack clothes and books in strong cartons and tape them well. Leave fragile items, TVs and cycles to us; we pack them with bubble wrap and corrugated sheets.
Step 4: Pickup and delivery
We pick up from your PG, hostel or flat anywhere in Pune and PCMC and deliver to your door. Popular routes include Pune to Patna, Pune to Delhi, Pune to Lucknow and Pune to Kolkata.
Quick tips
- Write your name and phone number on every bag.
- Do not send cash, jewellery or documents with luggage.
- Keep a small bag with you for the first few days.
How much does it cost?
Luggage is priced by the number of items or their weight, plus the distance. Five suitcases to Mumbai cost far less than fifteen cartons and a cycle to Patna. Heavy book cartons and large items such as a cooler or TV add to the price, and items that need extra packing are charged for the material. The cheapest way is to send only what you really need and to sell or give away the rest.
How long does it take?
Short routes such as Pune to Mumbai or Nashik are usually delivered in a day or two. Long routes to north and east India take longer because luggage travels as part of a shared load. If you need your things by a fixed date, book a few days ahead and tell us the date.
What not to send
- Cash, jewellery, laptops and important documents.
- Gas cylinders, kerosene, paint and anything flammable.
- Food items that can spoil or leak.
- Liquids in bottles that can break.
Students and PG residents
At the end of a course, many students in Akurdi, Nigdi, Katraj, Wagholi and Lohegaon send their things home together. We pick up from hostels and PGs at a time that suits you, count the items with you, and give you the count in writing so you can check it at delivery.
